To earn the title of Apostolic Guard™ — IN SERVITIO and the right to wear the Phoenix, you will be trained, tested, and certified in the following four foundational subjects. Members must also learn and uphold our 33 Standing Orders.
Historical Theology of the Christian Church
Church history, the development of Christian doctrine, and the sources that inform our understanding.
Christian Liturgy and Basic Beliefs
Christian beliefs, worship, sacraments, sacred symbols, and liturgical traditions.
Basic Bodyguard and Protective Intelligence
Protective observation, risk assessment, communication, and emergency readiness.
Spiritual Investigation of the Occult and Spiritual Warfare
Spiritual discernment, careful investigation, the evaluation of claims, and appropriate referral to Church authority.
